When Does ICE Start Shooting Elected Officials?

Donnie Trump already has blood on his hands - two dead in Minnesota (no song yet). But stochastic violence - the kind that you encourage from afar, by innuendo - can be plausibly presented as random, and usually is, by the perpetrator. 

It's also less satisfying to the perpetrator. I think Trump - and the lady with the allergic reaction and the dead goat - are feeling the urge to go full fascist. Hey, I could shoot someone dead in the middle of Fifth Avenue, and nobody would do anything. (That's not the exact quote, but that's where his id was going.) 

Republican senators and representatives have been saying for some time that they toe the line because they're afraid for themselves and their families. People are threatening them, warning them to stay in line. 

What happens when Trump decides to cut out the middleman? I'm sure John Roberts will clutch his pearls.

But here's the thing. Trump will do anybody. You don't need a D after your name. An R will work just as well. 

Rand Paul is already having difficulties with invitations to the White House.

When will those schmucks in the Capitol wake up?
